Division 17 Counseling Psychology Grants – Request for ProposalsREQUEST FOR PROPOSALS DIVISION 17 COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY GRANTS About the American Psychological Foundation (APF) APF provides financial support for innovative research and programs that enhance the power of psychology to elevate the human condition and advance human potential both now and in generations to come. Since 1953, APF has supported a broad range of scholarships and grants for students and early career psychologists as well as research and program grants that use psychology to improve people’s lives. APF encourages applications from individuals who represent diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, and sexual orientation. About the Division 17 Counseling Psychology Grants The Division 17 Counseling Psychology Grant program sponsors a wide range of activities aimed at enhancing the science and practice of counseling psychology, including basic and applied research, literary, and educational activities. Program Goals The Division 17 Counseling Psychology Grants
APF supports original, innovative research and projects. Although APF favors unique, independent work, the Foundation does fund derivative projects that are part of larger studies. Amount The Division has $7,000 available to fund one or more proposals. Typically, the Division funds two to three proposals in the range of $1,000-$3,000 each. For grants and scholarships that are $10,000 or more, APF will make the award to your institution. APF does not allow institutional indirect costs or overhead costs.
