Counseling Psychologist Reaches Board Certification
Dominick Scalise, PhD, ABPP recently became Board Certified in Counseling Psychology through the American Board of Counseling Psychology. Dr. Scalise is the Program Director for the counseling psychology master’s degree program at Avila University. He maintains a small private practice in suburban Kansas City specializing in existential psychotherapy, career counseling, the intersection of faith and counseling, and working with teens. His self-care strategies include karaoke, wiffle ball, and “good enough parenting.” He received his doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
