Congratulations to Dr. Tiffany O’Shaughnessy for Receiving the Outstanding Poster Award from the APA ECP Committee

During the 2018 APA convention in San Frisco, an SCP member, Tiffany O’Shaughnessy, PhD received the Outstanding Poster Award from the APA Committee on Early Career Psychologists. The poster, “Development and Preliminary Validation of the Client Experiences of LGBQ Affirmative Therapy Scale (CATS)”, described the results of a study funded by the San Francisco State University (SFSU) Office of Research. This research project attempted to answer the question “What would a client notice if their therapist was operating from an LGBQ affirmative perspective?” Dr. Tiffany O’Shaughnessy co-presented this poster with her research assistants, Nico Storrow (pictured) and Cam Bui, both of whom are currently students in a master’s program at SFSU.
