APA15 – A Special Invitation for Practitioners!

SCP’s Special Tasks Group (STG) for Therapeutic Practice cordially invites you to join us in the Hospitality Suite, for practitioner-focused programming! We have dynamic Skill Building Workshops and Conversation Hours that will be delivered from a variety of experienced and knowledgeable practitioners. Sample program topics include: assessing and treating trauma and severe mental illness, starting a private practice on the side (part-time), opportunities for practitioner engagement in Division 17, and more. 

In addition to being practitioner focused, each program will have an intentional focus on practice that is specifically presented though a counseling psychology lens. We recognize the importance of providing our Counseling Psychologists practitioners with a welcoming and inclusive environment where they are able to network, learn, and engage in ways that are conducive to their professional growth and development.
